CONCERT HEADLINER

Green Road , a traditional Irish folk band , described as “ one of the hottest in Ireland “ is coming to play at the World’s Shortest St Paddy’s Day Festival in Adamsville on March 17th 2024.

Green Road are coming to Rhode Island following a series of sold-out gigs at some of the biggest venues in Ireland, including the National Opera House (850 seat) and the Wexford Opera Speiglent.(950 seat), and add that to the many other venues that they have played throughout Ireland and their highly successful US Tours in March and September, where they played to sell out crowds in Boston, Danville CA, San Francisco, Savannah and Philadelphia, Green Road is flying. Green Road is a 5 piece powerhouse band, with an uplifting repertoire that uniquely combines traditional Irish music, folk songs, and ballads with subtle tones of American bluegrass. They feature expert Irish musicians who play multiple instruments such as Uileann pipes, low whistle, five-string and tenor banjos, mandolin, guitar, and bodhran. They have one of the best male vocalists to emerge in Ireland in recent years PJ Sinnott.

Their concert will be engaging and interactive in a distinctly Irish way. It will be like traveling the iconic Green Road, a pathway through Irish memories and history. Green Road’s raw and authentic sound will have you singing along all night.
